Our baby is due at the end of July and I have convinced my wife that the theme for the nursery should be pirates! This is enough of a reason for me to finally build the Maiden.

My printer at home doesn't print perfectly square and so I do my terrain building via a player of mine's printer and robocutter. I would need to buy him the ink and cardstock. This is option one.

Option two is to bring cardstock to work and print using the laser printer that is not color.

I realize that all black would change the appearance drastically, but was wondering if it would still look good and be functional for game purposes. I could always follow up with a second colorful Maiden and eventually the Obsidian Gale when it is finally released.

Thoughts?

I would concentrate first and foremost on building the vanilla Maiden 'as is', to be honest - seriously, it's a BIG project and already is one of WWGs most detailed models. Kitbashes might be nice, but the model itself is already unique and one of the best out there.
