When I type a letter and send it to my Epson Stylus Colour 680 printer it makes all the appropiate noises but then churns out blank sheets, no printing at all. I borrowed another printer, a Lexmark Z601 but got the same result (or lack of result). Anybody got any ideas ??

The problem could be a whole lot of different things but the easiest tries would be...

1) Try printing a document from a different program. (that eliminates the program you're printing from)
2) While it shouldn't be a driver, since the printers should theoretically be using different drivers, make sure you have the latest and greatest print driver for the printer.
3) Try a different printer cable. There could be something wrong with the cable that you are currently using.

Those are off the top of my head, if I think of any other easy checks, I'll post them.
