I finally got around to getting one cut. Its been busy at work, but I shoved some time aside to make this. Worked out well. The foam took about 2-3 minutes from start to finish to cut.

The printing, cutting and adhering of the tiles took a bit... I was pressed on time so I made a couple of cut errors and there is a little gap in a couple of spaces. I was also using double stick tape which is not forgiving, but I forgot my glue at home.

I know some times i will have a bit of an off notch on the big layouts.
These look really nice and spot on

Oh and for this I might suggest using the Sticker paper for the ground tiles, you can fix a side down then, when that small strip ,looks to be in place peal the rest of the back of the sticker off and stick it down, more forgiving sometimes that glue or tape.

Ah! Good suggestion. Next round through I will get some sticker paper. It lined up pretty well, except where I miscut the tiles.

The machine is very accurate, so I can pretty much make any design needed... L Shapes, T Shapes, whatever. I just need the custom size requirements and how it should layout and presto!

On some of the bigger boards, I have a heat mounted material that I can plasticize the top so you can draw on it etc...

I actually cut a table pad for my dining room table out of black gator foam and covered both sides with the plastic coating so it would resist spills... The table pad company wanted like $300 for a custom pad, I made mine for under $50.00. It actually looks pretty decent.

This looks great! I am so jealous of you right now. I wish that I had an "in" for something like this.
