Hello Group,

I've essentially been away from RPGs for the last 15 years or so, but I've recently realized that I've got a nephew that would just eat up D&D, so I now have a legit excuse for diving back into role-playing games.

One of the major changes that seems to have occured over the years is that 2D and 3D land/terrain accessories are so much more accessible now than before. While exploring this aspect of gaming I stumbled across the Worldworksgames website and immediately knew that I wanted to try my hand at developing these card stock models. Affordable and cool looking, how can ya beat that?

That brings me to my question. While checking out the site, I initially read about making the Pro Masterboard. Then I later purchased CaveWorks, mistakenly assuming that it was designed with the intent of using the Pro Masterboard. I then realized, after already making a Pro masterboard, that it was simply meant to use Masterboard (not PRO).

I really like the Pro Masterboard concept and have decided to proceed and try to adapt CaveWorks to using the Pro by gluing the floor tiles to foamboard. Here's my question: How should I handle the free-standing cave walls? I'm thinking I'll glue them to foamboard sized to the length of the wall, two grid squares wide. But then I run into an interference if I want 2 free-standing walls to stand perpendicular to each other (at their ends). Should I just snipe the corners of each segment at 45 degrees? That would work for corners but then part of the floor is missing if I wanted to simply butt up 2 wall sections for 1 longer wall. Guess I should just make extra wall sections, some sniped, some not. Anyone else do this? Any tips or suggestions?
