Print 2 x floor tiles (doesn't really matter which one - the tile ones are usually the 1st floors and the boarded one for upper floors, but it's really a matter of preference), select the wall style, print 4 x 6" walls, (one with a door, 3 with the amount of windows you prefer), anchors to match the floor tiles and 4 x 2-way posts to match the wall style. 2 x 6" ceiling walls with tabs (can't remember the exact term used there) and 2 x big 6" roofs. Cut, fold, edge, glue and construct.

When you plan on bigger things, get the TLX-builder. Money well spent.

I agree with Silveri - start small. Pick a couple floor tiles, a couple posts and walls, and get them done. Get a couple tresses and roof pieces done to cap it off. Then start adding on. I went the route of printing out one of everything, and I ended up not using ANYTHING until I was done. I got hung up on things like the connectors, or making lots of props.

Just the other day, my 6-year-old decided he wanted to try D&D with me, so I put some forest tiles together with a tiny 1-six-inch-tile house. It was perfect for a quickie encounter.
