first off i'd like to say im really liking the way my dungeonworks models are shaping up.  i especially like the way they stack together so well to save space (i will admit though i cried once i realized how little space they took up in my box when i organized and  stacked them all).

i do have a question though.  i primarily use a map for individual combat scenarios in my rpg's, as opopsed to setting up a full map of the dungeons beforehand i whip out the figs as needed.  when setting up room types what does eveyone suggest for outlining the walls?  my first instinct woudl be to use the floating wall pieces, or maybe the riser pieces?

There’s a couple of ways you can look at this.

1. Take some time before your game and build your Dungeon before hand and then draw a map based on the constructed dungeon. While the DungeonWorks set is very flexible it is still limited to certain dimensions. Pre-plan your setup with an accurate map and then build as you play.

2. (My personal favorite) Construct your dungeon completely and then lay sheets of paper on top of the set to hide the sections yet to be visited by players. This creates a kind of "fog of war" effect. This will also save you time while actually playing.

Our DM uses a variety of construction techniques depending on what works best for the selected scenario. If you’re more of a fly by the seat of your pants kind of guy then print out a mass of free floating walls. Place as needed

Here's something I tried and it seems to work....

I take the free standing walls and cut them roughly in half.  Then, placing one on top of the other, I get *SHAZAM* a sliding, adjustable wall.  Small walls can be 2 squares minimum.  Just slide them out to however many squares you need.
I then use push-pins to secure them (and all my stuff) to the foam board.  
I still have some trouble making small or odd-shaped rooms, but this helps.
I'm also experimenting with magnets (instead of pennys!).  Looking good so far!
