I'm getting close to finishing my dropship, and I have a question: How is the back swing-down door attached? Is it glued inside the hull, under the lining? Or underneath the outside hull? Or just tucked inside?

If you go back and do anything with the files, please put a big "Cut this out" on the slot over the door lining (the piece that is glued to the hull after the lining is put in). I was just looking at my door piece and wondering where the tab at the top should go. I was thinking "there should be a slot or something..." "Dang it, I didn't see that little slot that I was supposed to cut out. How amy I going to cut it now that everything is glued and dried?"

Ok, I got it figured out. I was having a mental block from having scored the hinge on the wrong side -- I kept trying to put it on the wrong way.

Everything's good now:
* The hinge folds back 100% on itself when the door is closed.
* Put a block behind the lock slot, so I was able to make the slit

Just one more in the v-e-r-y l-o-n-g list of models I'm trying to get to (and that's just from here at WWG). The Dropship and its complementary APC, the Lightning Gun, "several" of the Pinzuaer Heavy Shuttles (including some of Chris Rowe's "other alternates" not found here) and scads and scads and scads of TLXs. [Sigh] A modeler's work [ahem, "play"] is never done... Thank goodness my Maiden build is done (though I still have a lot of interior to get back to).
