Thought I'd warn anyone hoping to use (usually very good) Sharpies in funky colors.

Their bright green (similar in hue to a Granny Smith apple) color does not react well with super glues (I'm using Zap-A-Gap CA+, but I suspect it's with any cyanocrylate). No matter how long the pen's edging has been dry, when you apply the glue, it turns most of it a very dark brown.

Now, if you're going for a "diseased plant" look, or some such, applying the edging while the glue is still fresh (but after the bond has been formed, and solid) can make a lighter brown, and only some turns dark, and some stays green.

Mostly, though, it just looks crappy.

Personally, I highly recommend the Prismacolor pens (except for black, where Sharpie is King!). If you're going for a lighter green, the "Grass Green" is great, and for a darker, more earthy tone, the "Dark Green" is very nice.




...Just to let everyone know. You know, just in case you'll ever need green. For some reason... *cough*
