Replaced my old printer few months ago, so I can print stuff in decent quality, but Id like to get a CISS system for it but there are very few reviews on the different ones.

so far I've figured out you don't want any sponge in there but any pointers on what else to look out for with the different kits.

Will be building a Built in wardrobe next week into the house so I'll finally have some storage space and can build some models , but need to get my ink costs down a bit as well.

The system I use is from the second link. Tha amount of ink in each bottle is 4oz. which allowed me to print out the 15 WWG sets I have, plus the Erbel models, and huge posters 3'x5' (8 of them), All the instructions for the sets because I don't read monitor screens well (on plain paper), And over 20 other model sets. After all of that I only needed to put in a new bottle for yellow, lt magenta. and lt cyan. The black, magenta, and cyan still have from 1/2 to 1/3 ink left. All of that was done for less than the cost of one cartridge set.

They also have different inks for different needs ... just type in your printer model.

Delta had any problems with leaking or Ink head pressure ?

Well my CISS arrived today and I spent about 90mins putting it in, most of that was whipping chunks of plastic out of the printer with a dremel to get a better tube fit (tough fitting one to an all in 1 printer).

ran off about 20 pages all seems real good so far nice print outs no funny colors no streaks, no air bubbles in the tubes

It's costing me about 30cents a page for this first lot of ink then once i refill the ink it'll be down to about 12cents a page (thats just ink costs )

using shop bought carts it was costing me about $2.50 a page in ink

You don't get to many WWG pages out of a cart

Rihac system, its a melbourne company, not the cheapest but I wanted the ability to throw it back at them if it messed up, they give 3month warranty.

edit: they were also one of the few who had a CISS for my printer

Sorry to raise an old post, bust since my CISS is about 3 months old now. thought I'd post an update for anyone thinking of moving to CISS.

I haven't had any major issues colour reproduction has been excellent, the tubes havent jammed or got full of air bubbles, I haven't had any leakages and the print heads seem to be doing fine. I've printed about 1-2 cartridges of stuff and the ink levels hardly moved. Photo's still turn out great also

I have had a few minor issues.
~ The printer is slightly noiser due to the tubes bunping around (it's hardly worth mentioning)
~ Installing the CISS into my printer/scanner/copier was a complete pain, It would have been much easier if it had been a straight printer.
