I have a Lexmark Z2300 printer (basic workhorse type), and I just changed cartridges. The prompt came up to print an alignment page, but when I click 'print' nothing happens. No page, no waiting print job, nothing - but the alignment wizard rolls right along and asks for the results of printing. I can print anything else I want, but the black in the images is outta whack. I updated the print driver and checked the control panel to see if Windows has any problems with the printer (none). I figured what the heck and started printing my Verus carrier, but the black is badly misaligned and my print job looks terrible. Has anyone else had this issue? I googled but can't seem to find any similar complaints.

And sadly, getting a new printer is way down on the 'things to do after I get a job' list.

is it possible to run the alignment again?
