On a seperate thread I explained the process I went through to create a tower bridge using several WW sets.

What other combinations of kits have people used to create new constructions? I also  have combined the stairs from IW:C&K and the tower from CW along with some pieces from VW to create a wizard's tower. (My first WW  kitbash, and so far the only original largeish structure that I have kept, with the exception of the newly reconstructed tower bridge. Both of these see use in wargaming.)

So share what constructs you have made and what pieces you used! I am quite willing to steal other peoples ideas!

The Auld Grump

My main kitbashing project was The Cathedral...making use of Interiorworks: C&K, Villageworks, and bits of DungeonWorks: Gothic.  The really tricky part was the roof...made up of six different single-slant VillageWorks roofs connected together, and supported on two Gothic pillars.

I made this ship for my 50 Fathoms campaign:



I built it out of pieces from VillageWorks & Interiorworks: Pubs & Inns, along with some wooden dowels for the masts.  The roof of the poop deck lifts off, allowing access to the captain's quarters.

I had been thinking about doing a ship with Interior Works, nice to see that someone has actually done it! (And very well, might I add?)

What did you use for cannon?

I am considering using the Reaper  female Dark Elf  ( http://www.reapermini.com/gallery/warlord/14078_G ) as a figurehead for a ghost ship - her hair is carved in such a way as to make it a fairly easy mod.

Thanks for all the kind words.  This ship made me realize just how valuable the kit instructions are.  Doing this project on my own, it took me about 30 hours to construct it [Of course, it was worth it just to see the looks on my players' faces when I set it out on the table for the first time].

The cannons are just some flats that I made (I was waiting for SeaWorks to get some 3D cannons).

Very cool cpk666! You obviously invested a good deal of time kitbashing. Sorry I havent been quicker on the draw with the upcoming release. Would have saved you some time
