My palm is always inked up or full of graphite because of writing from left to right. In highschool I used to keep notebooks for class, and I would start from back to front, so the spiral binding wouldnt press into my hand or wrist.

Even though I'm a lefty, I learned to play guitar and violin right handed. Also, generally I use the mouse with my right, unless I'm doing detailed Photoshop or Illustrator work, then I switch to my left.

I think there is no problem when you are a right handed or left handed as long as you know how to handle the knife.
