I have begun constructing terrain with wwg yesterday. So I had decided to create nine floor tiles (Codename Titan) with some houses. At last I think I need twelve tiles. The problem is that you need dozens of those anchors for that (9 * 8 = 72). Thats a very lot. I think building the anchors is the most time consuming task in creating the terrain. So is there a trick to do those anchors fast?

No trick; you just need patience and endurance

Try listening to some music/audiobook or maybe plant yourself in front of the TV for awhile while you churn them out.

I do mine assembly-line style; sandwich folds first, place under a heavy book for a few minutes, then I cut the shapes out, then edge them with appropriate color. It goes by faster this way, for me at least.

The only simple way to make anchors is is to print a few sheets of them an do them a few at a time when ever you get bored so you have a stock pile. Posts are about the same way. This plus the assembly line method is about all you can do.

Yup, assembly line style all the way. Dedicate a couple hours to just manufacturing anchors, throw on some music or a movie and sort of just zen out on it for a bit. Before you know it you'll have a good stockpile.

All this talk of anchors, it's funny - I really don't mind anchors. I think the anchors are kind of relaxing to do and rewarding to see done and in place. I even went back and edged several dozen tiles and their anchors after construction. Cutting and edging anchors, to me, is not nearly as tedious as edging all the posts! Maybe I'm too anal by edging inside the post slots? It's the posts that have prevented me from making multi-level Himmelveil streets, and it might be the posts that some day push me to using TCP clips along with kitbashed TCP tiles...

Luckily; I have to work this weekend, so I'm going to bring in a bunch of sandwich-folded posts & anchors, then burn away the boring hours by cutting out & edging them. Sometimes working the graveyard shift has its benefits
