Anyone on here ever gone through the process of getting a custom ICC profile created for their printer? My new laser printer does a really good job, but some WWG sets like Lair of the Dragon God are coming out way too green. There's a economical software application made for doing this with just your printer and a scanner, but it's still around $79. The only other options require expensive optical equipment to analyze the printouts or you have to send samples to a company and they create them for you.

I looked at doing this a few years ago and came to the conclusion that the software was probably the best option. At the time I decided the color on my printouts was good enough (I'd gone for a laser with decent color rendition in the first place - only wish I'd made sure it printed dimensions accurately) and that the money was better spent on other things.
