I've got a question for everybody: model builders, gamers, and designers, WWG customers and WWG staff:

Which stairs are your favorite to build? I'm not concerned with what's the coolest genre, or what textures are the coolest. That can be the subject of another thread.

I want to know:

- Which stairs designs are the easiest to build?

- Which stairs are the sturdiest?

- Which stairs are the quickest to build?

Feel free to include all types: chunky and sandwich, and even SC cliff stairs.

I also used Aleph13's great kitbash stairs for SOM Overpass. SOM is the first set I've done in cardstock, and although I do find the stairs to be a lot better that the slopes (thanks so much for sharing them with us), I did find them quite difficult to put together smoothly. For some reason I can't get them to sit flush with the slope so they look a little rickety. Still much better than the slope though.

Anyway, since that is the only stairs I have made, that'd be the best so far.

Thanks for the fast response Aleph13. I did dry mount them to get a feel for the fit first, but then glued all the tabs in one go. The middle two stairs are not perfectly flat, and originally puffed out from the slope. I managed to get more glue in after drying so they are better now. Figures stand easily enough on the steps, but they do fall off fairly easily due to the slight tilt on the middle steps.

Don't get me wrong though, this is entirely my own shortcoming and I really appreciate the work you did to allow me to use stairs in the first place. It's still so much better than just a slope.
