Brand new to this and building my first wood houses from the Village set. I'm noticing that when I connect the lower and upper storeys that the seam looks awful. When I went back and looked at the slideshow on the Village page, it looks like they're using some sort of wooden board type cutout to cover the seams. Am I missing something? I'm also interesting in mixing and matching houses. What do others do about connecting pieces?

So I looked back at the VW pictures, and searched my memory (I owned VW once but it ended up getting wiped in a System Restore, during one of the periods where I was *off* WWG), and I came up with the conclusion, that, (please dont take offence at this) it may just be the quality of your builds. Oftentimes people (myself *definitely* included) race through scoring their models, and it leads to gaps, and pieces that just barely dont fit right. Also, you may or may not have seen this, but WWG invented an extremely quick process that can up the look of your models a hundredfold, which they simply (and quite obviously) call edging. It's really just taking a marker that matches the color of your model, and going over all of the fold lines and breaks in a model, coloring the edges to match the details. It sounds really simple (and rightly so), but it really can make all the difference in the world...
