Can anyone recommend a good UK based supplier for suitable modelling card.

Also a supplier for UHU office pens.

I'm happy to use online retailers and wondered if anyone had found any bargains in the UK. I've seen planty of card but have been unsure of it's quality so recommendations from you guys would be excellent.

I feel for you folks. We take it for granted over here with so many retailers we can walk in to pick up materials. For the most part they all carry the same items/ brand.

I do forget about those things until I go to Scotland and find it tough to get oddball supplies now and then.

Since my original post I've also made other enquiries and I've had "Rapid Supplies" recommended who sell online and do the following 'silk' card at £4 a hundred.

Delivery comes in at £7.45 which appears hefty but there are 4 of us ordering so £1.85 each isn't too bad. (Cheaper than parking in my city centre anyway!)

It appears to be a bargain but I'm open to advice.

Staples will definitely satisfy my craving to get Shadowcore Prime underway immediately.

The Graphics Direct site is excellent, thanks for the tip.

110 lb cardstock is 199 gsm according to the pacakage of cardstock I use.

US Letter size is 8.5 inches by 11 inches. That is 216 mm by 279 mm.

The 65 lb cardstock I use is around 177 gsm.

Here is a site with a paper weight conversion table. It gets to be confusing because of the classification of the different kinds of paper. Basically look under Cover and Index for the lb and gsm used most.
