I am getting into the Rezolution scifi game and plan on using the cd that came with the game and others that I want to buy here.
My questions are these:
1) When printing out the streets of mayham will I need to adjust the scale of the print to get the right size for the game (28mm)?
2) What size prints are these? 7x7, 8x8?
3) What is th best way to keep the tiles together during a game? Meaning, how do ou stop them from sliding about?

1. The grids come in 1" 1.5" and no grid. Typically 1" = 25mm or close to it.
28mm is equal to 1.12". IE: Im not sure it would be worth the effort. Though other Rez. players here will pipe in I'm sure.

2. Floor tiles are 7x7

3. There are many posts on this from using:
Linx (paper/ foamcore bowties to link the tiles together)
Magnetic paint
Velcro
Rubber fabric
anti skid mats
or nothing and let gravity hold them.

I am building a Rez layout with all the Mayhem sets. I am using two 2'x4' sheets of MDF as my base, and gluing my tiles directly to it (yes, this is fiddly, the boards have to line up properly due to the odd-size tiles on the edges.) Using the Linx system will give you more opportunities for varies layout, but I ike my builds solid.

Gryffen88 print out 1 of the floor tiles and measure it to make sure your printer actually prints a true 7"x7" Some of us have printers that actually print the long side 1/16" shorter on ground tiles.

Its better to know and adjust now then, print and mount a whole city and realize somethings off.
(btw: if you go linx and have printer accuracy issues it will cause linx issues as well. )

I go with 1" grids which work perfectly with any 1" based miniatures (typically 25mm - 30mm). The doors and windows look right printed as-is for that scale.

If you game using the Clix minis, then you will need a 1.5" grid to accomodate those larger bases.

That said, are the official bases for Rez minis 25mm or those funky 30mm round bases with the extra lip all the way around?

Rez uses the ugly 25mm GW-style bases... those 30mm lipped bases are the bomb! I am so happy Dark Age made those open source and talked Matt into using them for Warmachine, now lots of companies are using them.

True - uniformity is secondary to the game and I can live with 'big' doorways.

I am lucky in that I do most of the painting/basing for my group (.....hang on - that means I do all the hard work! ) which means I have the luxury of deciding the standard.

Like the idea of building up the base around any mini that has to be slotta - just a case of supporting the mini as the araldite dries.
