Yard has white space ---> || <--- Yard has no white space, therefore facing front of ship.

So this is what I'm seeing, unless I've completely messed up the process of cutting them out. Thus, nothing pastes to white area on rear facing side of yard, box is above the yard, open side facing forward.

I feel so stupid, but I can't figure this one out.

Thanks for all the help. I looked again at the yards (not at the one I glued), and realized I completely missed the two purple lines that seperate the box from the rest of one side of the yard. Once I cut out a new one, this time actually cutting the "purple lines", it all makes sense. By the time I got to the masts, I guess I stopped reading the instructions on each sheet, and so missed the all important "puple lines" instruction.
