Hi all!

I am building some UrbanMayhem models and have run into a slight snag with the grid and foamcore walls.

I am using foamcore walls for the buildings due to having a lot of metal miniatures that the paper (even 110 doubled over) can't seem to cope with weight wise - but on a 1.5 grid the 1/4 inch thickness of walls is causing a inside/outside issue with grid size as can be seen here:



As can be seen the walls really start to shrink some of the interior grid spaces. I am trying to come up with a solution but have really hit a block - anyone have an suggestions?

Foamcore is 5mm thick, so the trick is to center the wall over the grid line, so 2.5mm is on either side. Tricky, but it can be done. This then does not reduce your square size so much.

Another option is to simply increase your grid dimensions to 1.6", which gives tile sizes of 8" or 6.4" depending on your ground tile size.
