1. That depends on what you're going for. If you want a big mansion, no not really. On the other hand the mansion in the promo pics is 15"x12", I think. Which works out to be 6 rooms per floor. So you could definitely fit something there. The grounds will not be large though probably like 3" to each side of the house, maybe a little more in front or back.

2. I'd center it side to side, and maybe a bit more space in front than in back.

3. Yes, it could absolutely be made modular. In my manor all the room are modular so I can swap them out on the fly. I love the DWC walls. But they are built shaped like and "A". So you would probably need to kitbash them into flat wall like interworks. But that should be super easy. The problem is that the resulting flat walls will likely be taller than the walls of other sets. That would be an issue when swapping. So perhaps castles and keeps would be ok for the regular basement, it can be swapped with the others with no problem.

4. Sure make it swappable. I would probably have the whole hill top lift up, or even the whole hill, that way the church and manor can be different shapes. I'd also build the manor and church separate pieces that set on the hill top, rather then using the hill top as an attached base.

Thanks, LD. I appreciate your help. I would prefer to make a big mansion, and I wondered if going with the 22.5" would come out too small. One thing I considered was only putting the streets on the front and one side, which would leave me a 30"x30" footprint. Plenty of room for mansion and grounds, but I'd lose some streets and sidewalks.

I'm not sure I understand about the DWC walls. When you say they're shaped like an "A", do you mean the ends of the walls lean in, like this?

That's a good idea about making even the bottom layer lift off, that opens a lot of possibilities.

30"x30" is a lot of space. Mine is 27"x15" and its got 25 rooms. You could do one 24"x18" will give you a ton of room and still allow for a small grounds. Or some thing thats not a straight rectangle like Robby's.

Yes, I'm mean the 3D walls are at an angle, unlike the block walls like mini chunk.

My earlier concern was unfounded. The wall faces are 2" high, so they will fit with the other sets with no problem. They can simply be printed normally and then simply cut the triangular end face off. The wall bases an be cut off or left oft as you desire.

Thanks for the clarification regarding the walls, and for the link to Robby's build. That was excellent. I was kind of thinking about doing something similar with overhanging bay windows over the sidewalk, perhaps with a trapdoor to get down to the street.
