Dungeonlinx is beautiful, and the perspective on the tiles allow you to forgo using walls and still look like there are walls. But yeah, the props are limited.

Mini chunk, has the most props, and the 3d walls are booth visually satisfying and the most stable when bumped. The drawback is that making enough walls to do a large dungeon like what I was doing for Shadowfell is hugely time consuming.

As far as foamcore, you could use it, but the pieces are strong enough with just cardstock.

Sandwhich walls (gothic, castles and keeps, etc.), very quick to build but they don't have a base. So they are easily shifted. The instructions recommend bracing them with pins, but I don't want to mess up my ground tiles.

You might try doing them on foamcore. The extra thickness would help them to stand on their own, and the extra weight should make them less likely to move when bumped. The problem is how to connect them at the corners when they are so much wider. Perhaps a hair pin rather than a bobby pin. h002 rather h001, I don't know if even that would be wide enough though.


Gothic realms - I like the walls the best, the sewers and traps are cool, but it lacks a lot of other props, even stairs.

Castles and Keeps - nice selection of props and wall types.

Another thing to consider is dungeonlinx classic. Its cheap, I really like the look of the walls, and it has a lot of props and item tiles. The interesting thing is that the walls are triangular. So they're wider at the top to allow easier access to the figures, and they have a base so they're more stable. They give a better impression of thickness than the sandwhich walls. But they are still almost as quick to build.

To keep the 3d walls in place I use a removable yellow sticky gum made for hanging posters. I get it at the dollar store, and it doesn't even leave a residue.



Edit: Since you have the DWC and C&K you have almost every single prop that comes in mini chunk. The only addition one I can think of is the round torture rack.
