So, my wife is big into the whole scrapbooking thing, so we share some common supplies (and you can imagine what our dining room table looks like). She has all sorts of cool punches and cutters etc. that come in handy.

Last week she brought home a bottle of glue called "zipdry"

And it has since become my very favorite paper modelling glue. It's the consistency of thick CA, but a little bit more gummy. It goes on like CA, from a thin applicator, as a liquid. It sets up pretty quickly (maybe a 20 count) and is at least as strong as hot glue. I've been using it for all the structural bits of the maiden. The best part is that overage rubs up like rubber cement, without peeling off the ink underneath, but the bond is just INFINATELY stronger than rubber cement. No warping at ALL - i used it for all the structural doubling fold-overs.

The only other glue I use now is the blue Zig pen. Can't use it for large areas, because it dries so fast, but now I have the perfect complement to it.

I have run out of my Uhu tube a few weeks ago and am preparing to run Village Works, so I will look this up at the store this weekend. Sounds interesting.

Its really great. It's like the perfect white glue, except its clear, leaves no residue, and doesn't warp at all, and sets faster...

I found out at lunch too that it will sharpie - which is nice for when you go to edge some corner that has a little glue on it.
