Hi All new to this hobby (paper terrain making) as I made terrain for 8 years using Hirst Arts

So I'm gearing up for a "Zombie Adventure" (yep another zombie nut ) using ATZ for rules and Wargames Factory for the Zombies and needed a modern setting...that is what brought me here...well anyway....

I don't trust just using paper for the Mayhem Downtown models...so I started making "box's" dose anybody else make them that way?

Is there a down side to using cardboard for this (just for hollow tall buildings)

As I have an allmost unlimited supply of cardboard (shipping boxes from work up to 10’x 4' some times) I've made 4 buildings now and they seem very sturdy. Some one mentioned its like wallpapering a box!!

However...I seem to always be a 1/16th off each side I measure several times before cutting and take into account the thickness of the material I'm using into the equation...still off just by a little, is it because their not perfectly square?

My cuts and scores are dead on and when I mount the cardstock to the “box” I get the 2 tab edges to line up almost perfect could it be the thickness of the cardstock?
