I have uploaded the first of three vid recordings which include instructions on how to reinforce and add weight and durability to your cardstock builds.







All three parts are up, totalled it's 45mins though I include some helpful hints and tricks along the way. Part 1 and 2 focus primarily on reinforcing risers, I use matboard but the same can be used with foamcore, though you may want to wait till part 3. Part 3 will include some examples of Foamcore use with props including a chest from the Maiden and the staircase from Villageworks, as well as various matboard reinforcement of props. I hope some of these tips turn out useful.

I have always contemplated basing more of my props and such, but have never gotten around to it. I always have the next build in mind instead. Maybe one of these days I will go back and do it...or maybe it would be best to base stuff as I create it from here on out.
