OK, this is my last post because I have to buckle down and work (and build when I'm free), but I can't resist throwing my request on the fire with the chestnuts (I can't believe that's the actual spelling of that word...): I'm still looking at everything available, but a set dedicated to domestic bliss would be great.

You know, the American dream of white picket fences, swimming pools (above ground and not), barbecues, gravel drives, and trampolines (don't forget the trampolines!)

A set like this would provide some nifty props (I said trampolines, right?), but would add mowed lawns, tree-lined sidewalks, and other bits to give even downtown a bit of variety.

Want zombies eating your neighbors? Want aliens taking autoshots at you(ala X-Com)? Want to just take a nice Sunday drive with your cutting knife? A set like this would seem to just round out Modern nicely (I mean, I'm all for post-apocalyptica and industrial wasteland, but WWG has those! I'd like to see who the neighbors really are... and run away...)

A Suburbia set would be awesome. There is, however, a kitbash for building exactly the kind of neighbourhood you are talking about. It includes alleys, front lawns, patios and white wooden fences. Of course, it's not TLX, but the old 7" standard.

Ooh, must check it out!

And your comment about old standards certainly begs the question (surely posed elsewhere):

Will the older sets be updated to compatibility? (It's the biggest thing holding me back from getting the older sets, the knowledge that they don't link up nicely. Some awesome stuff in there, though!)

With some basic Photoshop / GIMP / whatever skills, i find it isn't too much of a problem to just convert older sett into the TLX format. You just need to make some templates for floors, walls and posts first, and from then on it's just copy and pasting I converted Mayhem Industrial to TLX in a couple of days, and that includes a lot of trial-and-error

And once you got the templates, you can practically make whatever new terrain you want (as long as you don't present it as official WW stuff or try to sell it, of course!). I'm already searching for some nice hospital textures.
