Hi There! (Ticker tape, Ticker tape, Ticker tape...)

First time poster (lurker for about a year). Some of the most effective armies have the best communication. So why not give our forces some great communication gear. Like what?...How about:

- microwave and antenna towers in red and white, or steel grey...maybe some extra bits on them like airplane warning lights for the civilian models and/or a little antenna or two sticking off


- antenna arrays (H.A.A.R.P.? )

- communication substructures and equipment


- backup generators


- satellite dishes


- radar systems



- telephone poles



The telephone poles could be further enhanced by cutting a tiny slit into the glass/ceramic insulators, then using thick black thread to string the poles together.

The tall narrow towers could be tabbed into a (cardstock) concrete base...maybe a lightweight metal disk/weight for extra support. If you wanted to add guy wires, use the thick black thread suggested above running from the tower at various intervals to some kind of support on the ground.
