How about a medieval-orient expansion?

- pagodas
- hun tents
- martial arts buildings
- eastern temples
- tori/roadside shrines
- arches
- clan fortress
- gong
- rickshaws
- bamboo buildings, furniture
- rice-paper screens, lamps
- oriental bridge
- junks (oriental ships, or make it part of SeaWorks)

Great for L5R (regular or d20), samurai/ninja wars, etc.

I would like to add my support to this idea. I'm going to be running a pulp campaign set in the far East soon, and I'm having a terrible time finding appropriate maps, miniatures, etc. An OrientWorks (EastWorks? RisingSunWorks?) would be fantastic, and useful in a great many games.

Temple dogs, you say? Well, unless you want them even bigger, Reaper has a Fu Dog model that should suit your needs and paint up well.

I only noticed when I painted it.

I have to admit that I did a fun cheat with the figure - Reaper also makes a little pug dog miniature for use as a familiar, and I used the same paint scheme on both the pug and the Fu dog... If somebody plays 'kick the puppy', boy are they in for a surprise!

The Auld Grump, Reaper has a number of 'gendered' figures, they have a that is downright R rated...

*EDIT* That said my favorite succubus by them is the one making a ...

Well, it's not quite what I had in mind. It doesn't have the classic "paw up" or "paw on ball" pose. PLus you need two, one of which is technically a lion. I'm just thinking in terms of "fantasy scale" (read BIG) cardstock dogs might work... maybe.

True, it doesn't quite have the architectural guardian look going. And it's not BIG. It's just not small.

Hm, just thought of another fun bit for OrientWorks..

Forget a Koi pond tile...how bout a recess on top of a small hill with little cut out fish supported from beneath with a transparency on top to make it look more like water?
