I picked up Gothic Dungeons a few nights ago and overall I'm very pleased with it. The textures and graphics are beautiful, the large risers, pillars, sewer outlets and gothic arches break up the "skyline" for a more interesting overall view, and the individual set pieces are absurdly easy to put together, i.e. well-designed. Overall this is a great product for someone creating a dungeon from scratch.
However, if you're using this product to try and re-create custom dungeons, there are a couple of minor problems:
1) Why no 5" walls? Yes, I can create them by combining 2" walls and 3" walls but that's an extra step. 2) Why are all the doorways part of the corridors? The project I've been building uses no corridors whatsoever -- just rooms -- and so doorways are lacking. 3) Why are the gothic arches an odd length? The opening, i.e. the doorway, ends up being something like 2.5 inches. Again, this makes it difficult to include the arches when re-creating published dungeons. 4) Why are the crypt walls in only one (gigantic) size? 5) The number one issue is the lack of block walls. Many published dungeon maps include block walls...in fact, they're not only a standard feature of most dungeons they also have aesthetic appeal in that they give the dungeon a more three-dimensional quality. A few years ago I bought Microtactix' dirt cheap dungeons, so, personally, I have all the block walls I need, and I've been happy to paste your superior graphics and textures over their basic design, but, again, not only is that an extra step, but it requires two seperate products from two seperate publishers. If, in the future, you DO decide to include block walls, think about this...leave 1" wall sections on each end. For example, if I'm building a 5" block wall (1" thick) I pasted one of your 3" walls in the middle and then two 1" walls on either end. The reason for this is that when combining block walls into "L's" they overlap in 1" sections. Maybe you should make some that can be used as "T's" as well. Another thought would be to create corridors similar to your sewer sections, but with two inch tall walls. Those sewer sections are much easier to put together than Microtactix' block walls. Though maybe that would be too big to fit on a page. 6) I actually like Microtactix' raised "masterboard" sections. Yes, they are a pain in the butt to make, yes the fact that they're raised loses you an inch square (6 instead of 7) and yes, their textures stink. However, that 7/8 of a raised inch provides another potential 3-dimensional level to the dungeon, and goes *particularly* well with your sewer sections. Using their "pit" which comines perspective with an actual 7/8 inch drop in combination with your spike trap is pretty darned cool. It could be far superior with your talent at creating graphics and textures...pits and crevasses and bridges could be amazing. Again, I plan on simply pasting your masterboard sections to the Microtactix sections I've already built, getting the best of both worlds, but it's an extra step.
Just by way of helping understand where I'm coming from, I've been using your product to build a 3-D D&D Miniatures layout, using the "official" D&D Miniatures terrain tiles. Many of those terrain tiles include the aforementioned block walls, as well as odd sized "floating" walls. None of them include actual corridors, and as a result the only doors I've been able to include are gothic arches. None the less, I'm very pleased with the result, so my comments are really just nit-picky, but judging from your product you seem to be a perfectionist and maybe some of these comments can help you to keep coming out with new, improved sets.

Blown up sir!"
Great Stripes reference there SgtHulka. I see a point to what you are getting at, but I also have found (having purchased the microtactix Dirt Cheap Dungons) that I prefer the clip-it walls. The 3D walls from MT always line up so poorly and it takes me mere minutes to make WorldWorks walls. I guess all I'm saying is that if worldworks begins to include 3D "block walls", make it in addition to the Clip-it walls, not instead of.

Cwiles, you're the first person in a dog's age...actually, since I started using the handle many years ago...to actually recognize where it came from. My best friend's father is a dead ringer for Sgt Hulka, and terrorized us all as we were growing up.
Yes, please, I didn't mean to imply the block walls should be created INSTEAD of the regular walls. You are absolutely correct that the regular walls are much easier to create. Furthermore, many published dungeons (including the D&D miniatures pieces I've been building) include BOTH block walls AND line walls, so the regular walls are still essential. The same goes for the "elevated" masterboard pieces. As I mentioned, the elevated pieces are an absolute PAIN to create. It was a terrible hassle creating a 22 x 34 inch playing board for D&D Miniatures. So it's definitely not for everyone. But I can't help but druel at the thought of the incredible pseudo-3D effects Worldworks could create with such a board. They've already created pretty interesting effects on a flat board (pictures I've seen of the Caveworks Crevasse and bridge, the sewer sections from Gothic).
