There is only one WorldWorks set which is actually Mage Knight scale: "Chunky Dungeons". "The Maiden" set, is one scale, with three different grid options: no grid (any reasonable scale figures), 1" grid (25mm-30mm figures), and 1.5" (MK figures) grid pattern.

The "CastleWorks Classic" set is 25mm-28mm figure scale, as is "Village Works", "Dungeon Works", and all but the "Chunky Dungeons" set. The "CastleWorks Classic" set, is superb! I play D&D, as well as 2nd Ed. BattleSystem miniatures game -- the "CastleWorks Classic", at $5.00, is incredible! You can build a castle of whatever size you need, for a low cost.

I've printed off the free, TSR/WotC stuff, and they are nice, but they have some issues with their lack of good instructions. They do, however, mesh nicely with much of the WorldWorks stuff. I find, however, the free stuff to be incomplete for my needs. For $5.00, I couldn't object to the "CastleWorks Classic" set; when I put together my castle, complete with gatehouse, towers, wall sections, Smithy, and manor house, I was impressed. I believe you will be, too. Here is a link to some photo's of this set. I hope you enjoy them. Note that these were printed at 'Draft Quality', to save ink. They mightl look better at 'Best Quality', but to me, they look great at this level.

I am printing it off in B&W to build a second castle, with a different look, but I also plan to use this to build a facsimile of Helm's Deep, for a public demo game, at a local game store, to introduce new players to fantasy gaming. With its modularity, it will be the best $5.00 you've spent in a long time! Cheers!

Citan1984, as has been already said, Maiden is a single size, but the grid on it comes in three different variations...none, 1" grid, and 1.5" grid, and the model can be printed scaled down if you need something smaller.


In fact, one thing you might consider is this. Print everything at 67% of scale and use the 1.5 "mage knight" grid for the decks. 67% of 1.5 is 1, so you'll get a two-thirds sized vessel with proper 1" grid on it.

To tell you the truth, Im a little embarrased that I didnt read more into it. Funny thing is, the only one I read a description on was the chunky dungeon!

So, now I will HAVE to get the Maiden of the Sea and add some balsa wood propellors to her... Oh yeah, Airship time indeed...
