Assuming these are for 3.5/Pathfinder, I am game to give it a shot. I need to make some for running PFS and our FLGS. Also tI ahve been thinking about doing an updated rendering of the 3.5 combat grid sheet. How much interest is there in this? |

Well, I looked around to see what was out there - and a few of these things were grossly overpriced for what they were. So the basic question now is: "Do you want a transparency print to go under the minis, etc. (which can be very pretty and show different effects) or do you want a 'ring' card-stock print you can lay down over the minis?" Edit: Just to make sure that I wasn't stepping on toes, I did a search for 4E blast templates and all that other fun stuff. (Blast, Line, Wall) I found a bunch of out of print ones which utterly failed to sell no matter what price range they were given. I again have to ask if this is really worth the effort. It's no real problem to make a 3x3, 5x5, etc. measuring tile... but... |

For 4e, I find that persistent area effects are the only things that I want to show with paper terrain. (I use Alea Tools for condition markers which work for individual effects on PCs/NPCs) For this, I only need the corner sections found in the set mentioned before. I wouldn't mind seeing those "effect corners" (the ones found in the Elemental FX.pdf file) in other varieties though. Smoke/Ice/Earth/Fire are nice, but not all inclusive. Also, the cinematics could prove useful in other varieties as well. |
