Kitbashes are back! Here is a quick FAQ: Who is involved? I will be heading up the submission process and there is a small group of us that will be judges (at least for now). How do I make a submission? You will find the submission guidelines . Things have changed slightly, so make sure an look them over. Do I need to resubmit my kitbash? Yes. Unfortunately, the files previously submitted are not available to me. If you are submitting more than one kitbash please submit each individually. Do I have to use DropBox? Yes. This is to make submissions as consistent as possible and help to alleviate technical difficulties that have been an issue in the past. What kind of a release schedule is planned? The current plan is to release 3-5 kitbashes each month. This will be contingent on various things including the quantity and quality of submissions. Will my submission be released/When will my submission be posted? Not all kitbash submissions are accepted for release. WorldWorksGames reserves the right to reject kitbashes which do not meet described standards. Reasons will vary greatly but include things like quality of work, too similar to something else already released, too similar to something else planned to be released, etc. It should also be noted that a kitbash might be held onto for a later release date in order to theme release batches and whatnot. Do I get paid for submissions? No. Your submission is fed directly back into the WWG community and its supporters while we maintain and support the sharing infrastructure. Once approved, every person who previously purchased the release from which your kitbash was derived, will receive your kitbash 100% free in their account. Because the work is derivative, submitting your kitbash grants WorldWorks Games all rights to publication and ownership. The intent of a kitbash is to share your personal variations of WWG content with other supporters. Can I design for WWG? Currently, WWG is looking for , as well as . |

So, shortly after submitting my first kitbash, I realized I had always wanted to encourage people to make TLX planner files for their kitbashes. Do you think you kitbash reviewers would be able to put together the TLX planner files quickly for submissions? Or should submitters try to go through the process? I'm happy enough giving it a go for my submissions - doesn't seem like all that much work. |

Okay, wrapping up here for now. I think I've submitted both the Diablo Loco and Golden Dragon for Mayhem Mall. Since I'm obviously new at this formal submission process, and I would like to see what's going on and offer it up as an education example for other submissions, any chance, Talae, that you can respond openly and publically about these two submissions? I realize I'm sticking my neck out there a bit, but I think a practical example of what to do, or not do, would help the community as a whole. |

I did not meant that the image for the planner would be a requirement. Just that it would be much more likely to be completed if the kitbasher did it. As for your two submissions, they seem valid for review. At this point the other judges and I will look over the various submissions and decide which will be included in the next release. We then present these to the development team in order to hear their feedback (things like whether or not it is something planned in the future). Then things go to the release stage. Does that answer your question? |

OK. Sent in three small kitbashes and I'll let the new process run its course before submitting more. I apologize in advance for any typos. I seem to be great at spotting errors in other people's text, but in my own, I can type "Hinderlnad" over and over and not notice...  I did end up making TLX planner files for each. Now that I know what I'm doing, it's not that much trouble. I haven't submitted anything with walls and posts yet, so I haven't tried planner files for those yet... Thanks for getting this going - I can't want to see what comes out! |

Thanks Talae, I will check the submission guidelines.m,I had only posted the stuff in this forum. Hadn't sent it in. Will check to see if I need to alter anything in the submission. The kitbashes I have are already in Dropbox, so that makes it easy. |

Are you really asking if this will be done "SOON"?  Someone else can give an offical answer but I can tell you that there is plenty of work going on with these behind the scenes. And that this effort very much isn't dead. |

We are trucking along. This is not an issue of things getting in the way. Work has been pretty much consistent. My personally (overly ambitious) goal was the beginning of this month. I am hesitant to give any kind of indication as to release date since this process is a new one to everyone. All I can say is that we are definitely continually moving forward and that we are all grateful for everyone's patience. |

Question for the Kitbash judges. If a Kitbash contains floor tiles of a geometry that is not readily available...say the quarter round tiles from Sector Sigma, should a kitbash reskinning those tiles to, oh, say Himmelveil, contain the template for that geometry? Even though there is actually no kitbashing done to the template? If so...Should the template have the original header? Or the kitbash header? |

that would be my thought as well. And on that...Instructions. As the instructions for the Curved Tiles are in the Sector Sigma Instructions and not the generic instructions, should I pull out that page and include it with the submission? |

I would say that including it would be the safe bet. It isn't that much extra work and the worst that could happen is that the judges would request that you to take it out of the submission. |

That is your call. Don't worry too much about overwhelming the judges at this point. Think more about whether or not you want to work on more than one at a time. I will let you know if you are getting crazy with the submissions. |
