I've never done a poll before, and I am always up for something new, so here goes! I'm soliciting feedback for what to work on next. Pick 2, they're tasty! Some items are pretty straight-forward, and several have been partially done in my kitbash sandbox for a while.

Too... many... options...!

Eventually plumbed for the one I'd use 1st! :)

So Diagonal Paths Plez! :D

I voted for 3D props, but really, what I'd like is "other", as I most often play Clix in a modern or future environment... So Modern or future kitbash for me please, whatever you want :)

I went 3D also. Although, I honestly would also love to see the older sets submitted in TLX format even moreso...it is just asking a lot. 3D props I could use quickly. The Harbormaster and CWU sets intrigue me as long term goals.

Glad to see Thoumont's and Himmelveil Destroyed on someone's radar. It is on mine as well, but Thoumonts and Friar Angled Walls and Transitions is first. Granted I first need to reduce the size of the content I have...

Went for the 3D props also. Bunch of tempting stuff in that list. :D

Chose 3D props as well - it doesn't take much but when they're there the terrain really comes alive.

My number one prop choice would be a 3D well like the retired VillageWorks one:

And thanks for your awesome kitbashing work - superb :ymcowboy:

What is it about the VillageWorks well that you'd like to see improved on? I don't own VillageWorks - is it just that the textures are old? is the geometry too wonky? Or was that just an example of a great prop that we want more of? :)

Fountains are great, but they're a luxury only used in a few places. Every village, town or city burgh that can't afford a fountain (which is most of them) needs a well, often more than one.

It would be great to have a well (or wells) that uses current TLX textures and fits in with the rest of the TLX architecture (medieval villages, towns and cities we built using local materials, resulting in a consistent look based on the color/texture of the local building stone, roofing shingle, timber, etc.).

I'm kind of hoping that the well will return in the stables. And horse troughs...

Regarding the well and VillageWorks:

1) If the geometry is great but the textures need re-applying, I would be happy to reskin it with textures from newer sets (and there should be plenty), but I am not sure I'd be thrilled to spend $17 to do it.

2) If you're not totally smitten with the geometry, I'll make my own out of existing textures. It's just a well, after all... ;)

3) If WWG is expecting to have a great well coming down the pike, I would just like to say I'm very good at keeping secrets, so if they want to save me a little time...

I did a quick search on the web, and my personal preference is to do a couple different wells... One might be a circular well, maybe 1" in diameter and .5" in height, with an optional covering using wooden shingles bringing it up to maybe 1.25" tall? It'd include a little paper bucket. I'll leave it to the builder to decide to add some thread as rope or not.

The other would be a rectangular stone block with an iron spigot and a bar for pumping. There'd be a rectangular stone trough to catch the water, or possibly a smaller semicircular basin for the water. I'm thinking this would be 1" tall at the spigot end and .5" tall on the other end. Maybe .5" wide the whole way. Maybe 1.5" long total.

These are simple enough models that I can quickly mock some things up in plain white paper and sketch over them in pencil to get the flavor. Do these dimensions seem reasonable for a village well? I know some of you folks are WAY more knowledgeable about things like this than I am!

There's a well prop in Deadfall: SOB. I dunno if it's great but it exists...

LOL. Matt - you're not in sales, are you? That's a great well! My brain was probably thinking of this exact well, and I had just forgotten I had seen it in the promo pic.

Sheesh, I don't need Streets of Blood tiles, but I do like the props in it! A well, the fences, crates, barrels, the wagon and more...

Sounds like I'd better check out SOB (hmmm, that acronym is ... risky).

Correction: think I'll check out Deadfall: Streets Of Blood ;)

I like to have the 3D bridge and I will be patient.

Is it ready yet?

many thanks for asking what we would like.
You really do some nice work.

Pretty much every item you listed I would like and appreciate. In the end I picked the fountain and the bridge, but the diagonal is a real close third.

I'm focusing my attention right now on Atlantis - I picked up a bunch of new stuff from the recent sale, and I'm hoping to get Atlantis in TLX format before the end of the year. It's been a fun project. I've also got some things I need to do to the SwiftScenics Thoumont's stuff. I'd love to complete something before I get diverted onto something else.

When I come up for air, I will probably do a catwalk system for the HV Streets set as my first "priority".
