Sorry if this has been done before and I've simply forgotten. Inspiration struck me, and I'm taking this as an opportunity to break out of the papercrafting funk I've been in lately. The desire was to create TLX buildings that had more architectural interest. Many static building kits I've seen (and indeed, the old Thoumont's building) had a 2nd floor that hung over the first. The TLX version, alas, does not. So, that's where these little babies come in: My progress on the idea, and some sample building pics with the pieces installed are . Thoughts? I opted to have the tabs built into the piece. I've experimented with 1/2 sized tabs (and they work great for railings) but I didn't want to go introducing too many new things here. This piece has standard tab slots on one side, which will allow me to make wrap-around railings, too, so some interesting balconies can be pulled off. |

I like the creativity of it. Seems like it could prove useful in the right circumstance. |
