I managed to get it built tonight...and Im reasonably happy with it Basically I made two rooms (modified Airlocks) at 3x 1.5 In. one with an open floor, and a cab (modified from the escape pod) at 2x1.5In. which fits inside the rooms....with space at either side to "use" the elevator. I may reduce the size of the pod by just a little...maybe 2-5%...its a wee bit off a tight fit right now.... ![]() Will post some pics ASAP ( most likely tomorrow night) I may still do some tweaking ![]() |

How do you move the elevator from one floor to the next, and get it to stay there? Functionality aside, that looks fantastic! I really like how there's some extra space in the elevator shaft to either side. Do you plan on making a roof for the elevator car that has a roof hatch in it? |

As promised...* Pics of my complete Elevator setup posted to my gallery ![]() http://wwgallery.pcinfoman.com/thumbnails.php?album=116 Aleph...you got the roof with slide open hatch, and your wall struts worked wonderfully ![]() Outlaw...I put a set of ladders on the back wall of the shaft room....your going to have to leap across the shaft to use it sometimes tho'...lol Its not perfect...the build could be a little tidier...but Im still pretty pleased how it turned out. Apologies for the size of the pic...its late/early I will crop it down a little later today:) |

Thanks Aleph ![]() I shall put some time in this week on cleaning up the files...and making everything work on the pages. I need to make another for my build anyway...so this is a good oportunity to do both. As I said...i will wait for the submission guides from Denny to get things right:) |

Files for the Elevator are actually in not too much need of cleanup...for once I was pretty neat at the graphics stage ![]() I'm having second thoughts about the MA garage floor section for the hatch...I may have to just make a sliding floor hatch for the upper cargo area...I think its the only way it will work with my cargo elevator design. Either that...or move the cargo elevator away from the cargo bay door...humm....gotta give it a wee bit more thought ![]() |
