Hello, everyone! First time poster, long time lurker. Actually, that's not totally true. I had an account on the old forums, posted a bit, but never reregistered when the new site went online. I have lurked since, however, and almost feel like I'm a part of the community. Anyway, on to the task at hand! I use WorldWorks in almost every adventure I run. Great stuff. Great stuff! Unfortunately, because the skill level Denny (and his cohorts) show rises with each new release, some of the older sets have been left in the dust of cardstock past. With that, I decided to remake the older sets with functionality available in more recent models. Thus I unveil to you I'm working on "DungeonWorks Classic: Evolved" as we speak. Could be some time before I complete it, though; it's a much larger set! Comments? Suggestions? PS: Before someone comes along and rains on my parade, no I'm obviously not offering this set as some kind of "alternative" to people who ask. It was simply a project for me in order to enjoy the older sets as much as I enjoy the newer ones. |

Very cool. It's neat to see the Paper Lynx(tm) system being employed on previous releases! ~Floyd |

Welcome back Dmmagic! That's one hell of a kitbash and something we should seriously contemplate releasing somehow. I really like how your modifications turned out (it makes me laugh out loud at my weird little quirks in older products). I'll have to give you an e-mail in the New Year so we can chat. As as side note I really enjoy browsing your site and I am green with envy of your gaming buddies. You have a fantastic setup for RPGing and I love the atmosphere you bring to your table (The lamps in particular are a nice touch). I had a chuckle looking at the tables full of booze during gaming sessions (my kind of people ![]() ![]() |

Hello, Denny! I have to admit, I wasn't sure how to reply to your copious amounts of praise, so I had to let it sit and wait a while before replying. ![]() I remember when you posted way back when about your first set (then "CastleWorks") to the forums over at ENWorld. I was absolutely stunned at how you’d changed the face of gaming for my friends and I. We immediately bought every set you created and built them for use at our gaming table. Unfortunately, I no longer game with that group -- haven't for over a year. Life gets in the way sometimes, you understand. Nevertheless, I have started a brand new group and we've already started using WorlkWorksGames products for our sessions. Okay, enough hero worship. Glad you enjoyed my take on “CastleWorks Classic.” I’m excited to get “DungeonWorks Classic: Evolved” up and off the drawing board. There’s lots of things I feel would enhance its in-game use factor. |

? What an amazing innovation! After Aleph13's suggestion, I decided to redo all of my "CastleWorks Classic: Evolved" pieces! Here's a tiny snapshot of how much better they look: After some trial and error, I found that this process was easiest to accomplish with a "KaneLynX" template. For example: The graphic on the left was glued to the foamcore first. After a few minutes of drying, I cut away the trapezoidal "link" section. I then glued the graphic on the right, using the black edges of the template graphic as a guide. Once everything had dried, I cut the completed piece from the foamcore. An extra minute devoted to edging and bam--KaneKynX! |

While I should be working on my set, my next D&D adventure has brought up needs that the "CastleWorks" set doesn't address: ruins. With that in mind, I revisited the graphics files from my previous venture. With a little Paint Shop Pro action and a lot of elbow grease, I was able to expand the set with 7 new pieces. So I unveil to you |

Thanks for the kudos! I really want to build a "burned out" tower with some interior graphics stolen from some other WorldWorks sets. We'll see. ![]() Anyhoo, here's some "rubble" to go with the ruins. |
