I'm building a Village for my next Evernight game...I was building a lot of buildings when I decide to begin to play with it - after seen the Hollywood SME flats... not only 2 story but make it not square... rectangle...then came L shaped...with 2nd stories only in one side... Well my imagination begin to fly... but I found a problem...with the small (stone and wood) there is no problem they are all 10x10 son you just use 1st and 2nd togheter and have a 10x20 block...and can put in it a 10x10 over and have a good house...but then I found that the medium and small plaster are not square....10x12'5 and 10x 12 so it's a bit more dificult to make L shapes...(rectangle was not a problem) because you can't joint the 10 with the 12'5 or 12 when make the L ...( or I wasn't able to do it, you can but with the upsides down - I'll show photos) Solution...photoshop and make a mirror of the house...so now I have a L shaped buildings...(well at least in black and withe -test- and in my mind) this weekend I'll try to build a few and make photos... (and maybe you are able to understand what I'm trying so poorly to say) Hope this help |

Can't wait to see your pictures and what you come up with! VW is one of my favorite sets and whets my appetite for Himmelveil *TWITCH* when it finally comes along. In the meantime VW, like the old CW Classic, is very versatile, easy to use, and useful. |

Well the first serious setback...the print mirror worked well...I could do the "L" of the big plaster 12'5 x 10 ... and even made a "I" for the 2nd floor...my idea was print two sets of roofs and modify it for the rectangle...I made the long rules...and build it...one minor mistake...The front of the roof is made of the 10 side...and mine is 12'5...si No way I can use it...How I made the front of the roof 12'5 ¿¿?? next time I should made the L withg the 10 sides in front...Try to put photos to explain...(recut the floor and used for another rectangle made for 10... I will stick playing for now with the 10x10 it will be all more easy...Photos next day if have time during the play... |
