I really appreciate that Denny allows Kitbashes to be sold through his store, but it seems to take forever for them to see the light of day. I know Denny is hugely busy running the business and designing sets of his own... but that's why I thought Aleph13 was placed in charge of Kitbashes (apologies if I am mistaken). Wouldn't make more sense if Aleph13 could actually post the kitbashes once he has approved it? This would free up Denny's time, and would tide fans over with more mini releases in between the big releases. The last kitbash update was on Feb 3... over two months ago. Right now, there are a lot of kitbashes I think are on their way, but the wait is becomming almost worse than for the main sets, since we have no way to know when or if they will ever be posted. I'm not trying to cause problems, just streamline the process so that everyone benefits. Your thoughts? Arabin |

This was all an issue of access and time. Aleph could only take the process so far and then I had to finish all tasks related to uploading the product to our secure store database. That end process is a sensitive, multi-step job and not as quick as you might imagine. As things get more complex for me behind the scenes the less time I have in any given day. This forces me to prioritize issues that need the most attention. Unfortunately Kitbash uploads don't typically make the top of the list. I do however want to support the Kitbash crowd. Long story short, Aleph and I are speaking this Tuesday to better streamline the process and get the Bashes up on a regular basis. It is my hope that after this Tuesday there will be little to no delay on future kitbash uploads (as long as they meet our requirements). This should be welcome news to the crowd here and a win-win situation for everyone involved. More on this during the next WWG radio program. |

Excellent! Thanks for the informative response, and for being proactive about this. I do understand how complicated things can get on the back end, being a web person myself. I also know that you wouldn't want to, for example, allow anyone to upload files to your server... but it sounds like Aleph is now in a position of trust (does he get a desk at HQ?) so I really look forward to the solution you come up with. Thanks again for listening and responding to your fans and customers. If it wasn't for the superb textures and models, the customer service would still convince me to stick around ![]() Arabin |
