The fifth official Compliation Package takes us through a huge array of different tiles, straight from the efforts of Bob Cooper, Scott Reid, and Slymoon. The Road Trip compliation gathers up all of our current modern road tile sets into a single grand package (at a considerably reduced price). Alleyways (by Bob Cooper) gives us a blended tile that runs either a dirt-road alley or an asphalt alleyway in between buildings. Intended to be used with Streets of Mayhem and (for the dirt/grass version) VillageWorks, it allows for creating suburban developments or back-alleyways for your downtown area. Also included are full instructions for how to create a suburban neighborhood using these resources and the "siding" and "Suburban dressings" kitbashes Bob Cooper had submitted previously. 1" version only. Scott Reid contributes four times over, starting with the Desert tiles. These are a light-scrub dirt tile meant to work with the other tiles in the set, or on their own as a great general grounds/setting. 1" version only. Scott's second contribution is the Desert Dirt Roads. To the dirt tiles is added a scratched-up dirt tile in the classic straight, corner, T, and X layouts. Perfect for placing a lonely dirt road through the middle of the desert. 1" version only. Slightly more upscale is the Sealed Road tiles. Urban Mayhem asphalt has been poured out on the ground to make a somewhat more passable road. Not as rough as dirt, it's still pretty rough, and still surrounded by the light desert scrub. Perhaps a new subdivision going in, or an old country farm off of the main road, in the standard straight, corner, T and X. 1" version only. So how do you get from Urban Mayhem to these tiles? Transitions, of course! Scott's fourth contribution is a series of transitions...Dirt road to regular desert (end of the road), Streets of Mayhem abruptly ending in desert (the city stops here!), Sealed Road to Desert, Regular road to dirt, and Sealed Road to Dirt. Over the course of four tiles, you could go from the end of a Streets of Mayhem street to a sealed road tile, sealed to dirt transition, and then dirt to desert. 1" version only. Not to be left out, Slymoon brings us a selection of dirt and dirt to grass transitions, different from the desert tiles and suitable for another variety of setting (derived, I believe, from the dirt and grass tile from Bits of Mayhem). Mixing up the patchy grass and the pure dirt, available in all three standard formats, Slymoon's addition to this kitbash is a big one. Hit the road! Going to double-up today, since one of the two releases is a freebie. LD2062 brings us the Bone Bridge, modified and updated, for Minichunk and Chunky Dungeons. Now there’s two different varieties, in both 1” and 1.5” variations, for a total of four different bridges in this batch (since I included the original) Luckyjoe has come up with a clever modification to the Mayhem PD searchlight to make it movable and poseable…and just happened to include a familiar-looking circular insert as well.
