My sister let me use her computer and printer( she lives 1 1/2 hours away) So you know I wanted to make this and it turned out pretty good I must say. I'll second that - very neat roof line. Now to do some skylights (glass in the roof to let warmth and light in) and pipes for the toilet and kitchen. How hard would it be to do this in the H-flats material? Then there is a blank template to be done so we can fit Bob's siding (cladding) in too. Why do you use white foamcore? I'm just curious. That's really excellent. Another good way of changing the skyline and varying the buildings for big Mayhem builds. If I could add in a minor request; could you make the pitch of the roof a little steeper so the building could fit in higher rainfall areas? At the moment it looks quite Mediterranean style to me. I'd like to use it for more Northern European locations.... |

LE-Mother having a steeper roof again woudl make the building tall yet again, would it not? Not that it's an issue just wondering. Lrod Abaddon of Wormwood |

O.K. Too clear everything up real quick this is just a prototype, which say that all suggestions are open One thing that I'm going to be working on today is skylight kit-bash for any style of roof-top you want. The peak of the roof is a little to low for my likings as well so I'll be fixing that issue up, also if people like this one I'll also submit this one as well? Another thing I was also thinking of doing is a gutter system for the buildings that have interiors( meaning not for the Hollywood flats), but that still up one the list of maybes ( Damn I got a pretty big list ) |

From a high rainfall/light snow area [England]: An 18th century farmhouse (2 types of local stone): A 19th century addition (London brick and Welsh slate): A 20th century barn (asbestos and corrugated iron): Just for reference! |

For a skylight on a flat roof you could texture-bash the one from HarbourMaster. Needless to say you would want to use the non-transparency version. |

Another option is to go with a or roof, where the center section of the roof is low-sloped to flat, and the outer section is much steeper. Gambrel roofs are often found on american barns, whereas mansards are more french or victorian. Here's some useful references on roof styles: http://www.bobvila.com/HowTo_Library/Ro ...
