ok here is the delima. I want to build a set of apartments. i have a rough idea of how i want it the problem is that this is going have to be bashed alittle on the walls and ALOT on ground tiles. each individual apartment is the regular 7X7 so over all the building is going to be 16X14 the extra 2 inches is the main halway. i am just not sure if this would be best or to just move then interior wall back a inch on each side of the hallw way so that the whole building is 14X14 the ground tiles work loks like it is going to be a pain for me. what do you all think ?? |

My inclination is to stick with the standard 7x7 tile sizes for the exterior of the building and squish the apartments into a 6x7 space. Your alternative is to build the ground tile setup into the layout logically. My first immediate gut reaction would be to plan around a 3x2 tile setup, and take up the extra space on one side with a set of parking spaces. Just take a standard parking lot tile, split it down the middle, flip one side around to sit beside the other, and you've got a lot of your bashing done for you. Another alternative...have you taken a look at my Alley kitbash? That'll give you your 2" that you need, and stretch the apartment right up tight against the alleyway itself proper. |

You know you could always add another level to it with these steps that I'm submitting tonight ( was going to do it yesterday but ran into alot of problems-missing files  ) But these are the steps I'm talking about
