Post subject: | Gothic Sewers and Missing Person 1.5" Kitbash |
I needed some sewers so I kit bashed Gothic Realms and Missing Persons. I have yet to decide if I will put the outer wall on the sewers or not. Something has clogged the sewers Sorry about the long links I can't figure out how to make a text link. I have all the Gothic Dungeon done as well but they are all in the States. As soon as I find more time I will print out some more |

Post subject: | Taking CWU elements for Chunky Gothic |
Here is my latest build for my Chunky Gothic I have taken the idea of the simple crenalation from CWU and used it with my Chunky Gothic. I like the idea of having that outside wall removable, gives me more options. I have a 3" wall section that can be cut in half for two 1.5" section or folded in half for corners. I have 4.5" sections for three squares, and 6" walls for four squares. On a side note I'm using a new basing material. It is 5mm PVC board and it is cool stuff. If I had not already had a 8' x 4' Velcro table cloth I'd use the linx system. This stuff is hard but flexable. I can bend it into an arch and it will spring back. Going to dull alot of x-acto blades cutting it. I'm going to have to pick up some cheap utility blades. Only real problem is I will need to use something other than standard glue to glue the paper to the PVC. Tends to peel off. |

I don't have enough walls yet but here is a layout I have done, minus any sewers or risers. Just started to make the traps from Gothic as well. Scaled so they fit well in the 1.5" square. The buzz saws are a pain in the rear to cut. Not hard, just takes a bit. Made a bunch of hindering and blocking terrain tokens to place on the board as well. |

Between Deathreavers and my chunky Gothic we have more than enough to do one heck of a Mega Kitbash. We both started doing Chunky Gothic at the same time, so what do you say Deathreaver? Left to do? Remake the stairs Make double wide stairs Different sized risers Remake the giant well from Missing Persons Do Yellow, Red and blue sewers (Yup only have green done) Design something new and exciting for it. Mybe channle locks for the sewers? All the walls, doors, floors and green sewers are finished. |

You are busy these days....as far as the 5mm pvc board and glue, if you hit it lightly with a mid grade sandpaper that should provide plenty of surface grip for the glue and keep the tiles from peeling off. Yet more good work! Zip |
