While there's absolutely nothing wrong with the Mayhem road sections I needed something that was a little more 'generic' so that they could be used for any 'modern' game setting. These are just two of over a hundred different tiles and options that I've created over the past year. Whilst not quite up to the same detail as the Mayhem stuff I think they're okay. |

Welcome to the forums Silverback. Got to say your tiles look great! You should look into doing some kitbashing between what you have done and the Mayhem stuff! This is an example of a set of 'worn' road sections I started to work on. The tyre marks could probably do with a little more work to make them more realistic but they give the general impression of a 'lived-in' road. I even made the sidewalks dirtier and more 'distressed' too. |

I think what you've done is pretty nice--perhaps you should submit them as a kitbash. |

Those look great! Thanks for sharing. ![]() They look like 8x8 tiles, are they? Amazing how much more you can do with roads with that extra inch ![]() Steve |

Heh, those look sweet Silverback. Heh, one problem with roads is that they come in so many sizes, with so many different possible tiles that could be used or needed, and this doesn't just apply to modern, but futuristic or even fantasy as well. Even with cardstock there may always be limits to how far you can go without doing everything yourself or planning out every build 100% and not really going with modularity. Still, those look quite useable. |
