Hi, I just got the garage door track kitbash by Sawhat, and I have a few questions for building it. 1st - Do I cut the garage door completely off the building? I was looking at the initial thread on this kitbash, and it made it sound like I need to cut the door off so it can rest on the track. So if I want the door down, I just place it between the wall and the track, right? 2nd- I think I know how it fits together, but where are the 4 small tabs supposed to go? Are they additional support for the rails that go on the wall? Thanks for the help! |

Hi, Tomodachi! Sorry for the delay in getting you an answer - I've been crazy busy leading up to Christmas. Anyway, yes, you do cut out the garage door, and simply rest it on top of the tracks. As for the small tabs, I believe they are added support, but it's possible they are tabs meant to hold the door in place when it's down. If SawHat sees this thread, we can get official word. ![]() |

Yep I've purchased & built this, just haven't unpacked it yet from the move and I still need to take a pic of it. But this is a awesome bash and brings a new element to the mayhem line. |
