OK to clear up the title for all of you, this is what I mean by vehicle add-ons. Such items as weapons and armor, kinda like a MadMax or TwistedMetal feel. So how does this sound to all of you? I know I have many uses for items like that. I could also trick out a couple of vehicles and submit them as well. So just let me know what you all think of this idea that is stuck in my head !!!

I'm currently running a d20 Post-Apocalypse game, and I've been trying to figure out a way to mount weapon/missile racks onto WWG vehicles!

An <a href="http://world.guns.ru/machine/mg04-e.htm" target="_blank">M2HB</a> mounted on a hummer (or other vehicle) would be sweet. I was thinking: make a rectangular box with gun texture for the gun part, with two small handles on the back for the gunner to hold onto, and just use a toothpick painted black (with maybe a sleeve glued around it for support) for the barrel.

Speaking of a hummer...where is that at? We need a military hummer for sure! I just don't think it will look as good mounted on a Ferrari.

Some other ideas:

* Armored firing slit you can glue onto any existing vehicle (except maybe the Ferrari). Would be cool if it had a piece of black cardstock you glued to the inside of it, to give it the illusion of depth inside the vehicle.

* Missile racks - a six pack would be cool, along with a 2.75" cylindrical rocket pod. Even cooler if you could figure out a way to put a flip-up camo dust cover over the missile racks. It wouldn't have to flip up or anything, just included in case someone wants to show it in "ready" mode.

* Armored wheel covers - hmm...I guess I'm getting off topic here, but this is related to weapons...er...anyway. These are steel plates you can glue on over wheel wells. They are half-circles plates that protect the top half of the wheel, making them harder to blow out with gunfire.

So, yeah...lots of interest in this one, personally.

Well, you can get some add-on weaponry out of Platform Command: Red Sector. The modular bits and pieces of 'bot weapons can certainly be tacked onto cars instead.

I think it's a good idea. Tricking out some existing vehicles and offering those, or even just offering instructions on where to find bits and how to attach them for the end result would be cool.

Also, don't forget that somewhere down the pipeline WWG is going to release Maximum Roadrage, which I think was discussed as game in the same vein as Womhole, but with a Mad Max style theme, and hopefully vehicles and standees at a 28mm scale. The details are still fuzzy as this is, I believe, a long way off... but it's coming.

Also, for diecast vehicles as a basic to add on weapons and armour plating for a post apoc world, check out the new 1:64 range from Jada Toys called . I plan to pick up a few of these when I see them in stores.

Sounds like a plan DR, pre designed mods for existing vehicles would be great and allow for further customization without having to bash some mods.

Weapons are always good for add ons also.
