I agree, kitbashing is certainly a learn as you go kind of thing. From what I've heard photoshop has some very useful tools. But GIMP should be more than sufficient for almost anything you need to do. |

Absolutely. Gimp can do everything that P-shop can do. It seems that if you're new to both you might as well learn on Gimp as people that are familiar with P-Shop have a hard time with it...Me included. A good bet is to google "Gimpshop". It's Gimp that looks like Photoshop. |

I googled 'gimpshop' with some trepidation but it returned surprisingly clean results, no PVC accessories anywhere in sight! I'm also going to download some idiots guide style tutorials and get stuck in. |
