You may want to add a little road wear and grunge to the streets, they look too clean.

Agreed...Not modeling does suck. I added some cart tracks. Makes em' look a bit dirtier. The problem with garbage is that if you have a few streets in a row... It gets repetitive. Like a background in Scooby-Doo. I'd rather keep the garbage separate and add it on to the occasional tile with P-Shop as I'm printing. |

Alternatively, Just include separate little pieces of cobblestone with garbage. Then they can be added to preference. There is a limit to the number of ground tiles that can be included into a particular bash. |

How about little bits of paper and stuff that could be printed on one sheet and glued down to whatever tiles you like? |

Do you mean just the piece of garbage? Or would a section of the road around it be included? Little squares of road and garbage would be much easier to cut and edge. But just garbage could be added to any bit paper model. If the garbage is included solo, printing on transparencies would be a good way to do it. Like the damage overlays from the maiden. |

Yah...Just bits of garbage on a page. They would be easier to edge if they were on a road bit but I bet it would look cool if you printed a few bits and pieces of newspaper etc. on regular paper they would have a little dimension. The could be folded...Crumpled etc... |

These look very good. How wide is the street proper? wide enough for two lanes of traffic, or tight and congested Euro style, where two donkey carts trying to go opposite directions have to jockey around for a bit to get past each other? Heck, I can see trying to add elements of this to Mayhem streets, to have places where the tarmac has worn away, revealing the Belgians beneath. The Auld Grump |

They look good, but can I suggest something? On the T and X pieces I would alternate the stones where they meet so it blends in better than just clashing head on. Look at the left side compared to the right side. I only did this real quick (a minute maybe a minute and a half) so its kind of sloppy. But you can see how I blended them together just a bit. If I had spent more time on it then it would have blended in a bit better. Its only a suggestion not a criticism on your kit bash it looks good. |

You know, here in Portland, along Commercial Street, there was a section of road that not only had the Belgians visible there the tarmac had been worn away, but where the old trolley lines were poking out as well - rather than pulling out the old rails they just paved right over them. They finally got around to removing the rails a couple of years ago - they had not been used since the 1950s. The Auld Grump |

Portland Oregon. I always forget about Portland Maine. My wife is from Wells Maine and she always gets upset when I forget that. Winters! How could you like winter! I spent my entire life in either Minnesota or South Dakota Winters and now that I live in the mild winters of UK I never want to go back! Why trade 40 F winters for -25 F With a windchill of either -30 to -40 F. |
