Hi, everyone. I finished off a few more kitbashed furnishings for Mini Mart. The cashier's counter is simple kitbash from Paul S's beautiful Mega Mall. I used the cash register, and register cabinet from Code Black and the Lottery sign from the Kiosk. I cut down the length of the sign legs. Then I glued a couple of signs onto the cabinet. There's a little sunglasses rack I added in front of the cabinet. Am I the first to post something made from the Mayhem MegaMall set? ![]() Here's merchandise shelving made from Matt Lyon's excellent Armory set cabinets. I googled some images and cut and pasted them into the original cabinets. Next is a little cigarette case for the wall behind the counter. Googled "cigarette convenience" images and just put it onto a small foamcore box with "brushed metal" textured sides. Easy. The wall is from Matt Lyon's also excellent Mayhem Police Department. Next is a shot of the interior from the left side, that shows the layout. I made 3 shelving units but two is about all I can fit. Sorry for the blurriness. You can see the new exterior sign I added. Shot of interior from right with beer cooler case in background. Last is a perspective shot from the front. I love the transparencies from these sets. The rats in the background came from some Halloween Village sets from a Menard's home improvement store. Well, there you go. Enjoy! Luckyjoe |

Thats nice work on the props. How do you make the graphics for the shelves? Is it a photo of a real shelf? |

Hi, LD. Yes, it was a photo I found online using google and doing an image search. When I found some pictures I liked I used Paintshop Pro to resize and crop them. Then I copied them and pasted them onto one of the Armory cabinets I had also cut and pasted into Paintshop. I save each cabinet when done and paste them into a MS Word document for printing. I have very little Paintshop skills but this was actually pretty easy, even for me. Imagine how good they'd be if someone who knew what he was doing did them. ![]() Luckyjoe |

And... This kitbash is now live and available, along with the interior/exterior walls. Luckyjoe brings us a kitbash to bring a gas station "mini mart" to the scene to accompany your Mayhem Petroleum Company gas station from Bits of Mayhem. Modified outer walls, coupled with a set of store display stands...just add your own floor, ceiling and a counter and you're all set! by Luckyjoe 1/20 |

Hi, LD. No, I haven't added it yet. I guess I'll have to do it. I've been waiting to do it once my kitbash was released. If you want to see it in the meantime, you can click on Bob's link to the kitbash. And Bob, if you see this thread, is it okay for me to use the avatar now? Luckyjoe |

Is there a little sign for the front that says 'I assure you we're open'? |

Any chance I can horn in on this one when it gets updated (whenever that may be)? I've got a couple of prop pieces that would work pretty well with this set. Also, wouldn't it fit more with 'Streets' than the Mall? |
