There has been some discussion as to submitting kitbashes for Terrain LinX. This thread is both an enquiry into the feasibility of kitbashes for TLX, and if it is feasible, a place to discuss them. On the one hand it is incredibly easy to see how kitbashes might be created, the worry is whether some of these might tread on WWG's releases. The Auld Grump |

We can't really support TLX kitbashes until there are a few new products and official conversions completed. After that though we'll likely support kitbashes as we always have. |

I have made something as I needed some more designs of buildings. I didn't had any other set other than Streets and Sewers. So I downloaded a Free Wall Texture and see what I made. It looks more beautiful than the pics as pics are taken by low res camera. Pics : On Street Tiles Closeup I will sooner create some more as I need more types of buildings. Also the resolution of image is 200 DPI so it looks good after printout. Plz comment. |

Haven't got any pics at the moment but I'll post 'em when I've got 'em. Was working with my kids on building a dungeon, one of them is heavily into Lego Batman and wanted to put green goo all down one corridor. No such tiles in any of the sets at present so I loaded a few of the TLX Dwarf Lord chasm tiles into the GIMP and re-coloured the sea Masterboard tiles from the wonderful ship whose name escapes me. A little layering, a little snipping and slicing and I've got some wonderful slime-filled pits. They're all 6x6, so next up is to do some more cutting and work them down to 3x6 and 3x3. Also been thinking about the pit traps and similar, having 3x3 with the corners cut out so that they'll sit on top of a standard TLX tile with the posts and mounts in place (or 3x6 or 6x6, however big you wanted the pit/slime/webs/whatever...) I was dubious about the length of time it would take to physically put TLX stuff together. Now I've done some and started looking at these mods I can see just how versatile the stuff is. Pics to follow once I've got some made up. |
