I dont call this a kitbash because i made and designed it myself but dont know where else to put it. It is a mattress. I thought i wanted more props in the apartment, and did not like the fact that the foldup bed on the wall was only 1D so i made one. Thinking about putting some stains on it to make it look old and warn. Sorry the photos are so crappy, used my iphone, but i put a mattress label and handles on the side. |

I aged the mattress and threw some pretty nasty stains on it, as well as made a box spring Thank Morganm for the idea. Here are some photos, have not printed and made them yet so just the flats |

Wow, that mattress is nasty! That being said, I love the fact that you made one. Definitely a nice prop for inside buildings or for something to add to the trash. What else have you done/are planning on doing? Post pics if you can. |

Nice work! I'd definitely be interested in getting that mattress. I also run a d20 Apocalypse game and would love an even more rotten/distressed mattress, maybe with some rusty springs showing and dirty scraps of fabric hanging off of it, as if it had been out in the weather for a decade or two. Something that would fit well in . |

Oh, and you know what's funny? I was washing my car tonight at the local carwash and guess what I saw right beside the dumpster? A mattress and box spring! Sheesh, I must live in a ghetto... |

Yeah, that where i got the idea to place it next to a dumpster, from walking thru the allys of downtown. Here are the new updated mattress and the box spring I also have made a bed frame which i will put together tonight and show some photos. |

Sure that way you can have a mattress store with new ones and then throw some old ones outside. Here is the bed frame i made all put together. |
